Mr. Coig is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana, all state courts in Texas, is admitted to the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Coig is a member of the Louisiana, Baton Rouge, Federal and American Bar Associations, is a member of the Intellectual Property Sections of the Louisiana and American Bar Associations and is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association. He also is a past Chair and serves on the Baton Rouge Bar Association's Volunteer Committee, is co-chair of the Association's Technology Committee and the Chair of the Association's Web Site Development Committee. He has additionally served as an instructor for multiple Technology-related Continuing Education programs in Louisiana, including 2006's "Internet Strategies for Legal Professionals," hosted by the National Business Institute. Mr. Coig was the Marshall of the White Chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity at Louisiana State University Law Center.
